You’ve identified some things to work on professionally and/or personally, AND you’re ready to move forward. You might know that you could move ahead on your own or you might be filled with doubts. In any case, you know you want the support, structure and/or accountability that a coach and thought partner can provide.
That said, working with a coach isn’t always easy. Making positive change takes commitment, time and energy, including some personal archeology (looking within yourself and at your history), and some homework between sessions. It can also seem like an expensive luxury; I hope you’ll consider it an investment in you and your future.
A quick note about coaching and therapy. Although there are some similarities, they are not the same. The premise of coaching is that you’re healthy and fully functional, and therefore we’ll focus more on your future than your past, on your desired outcomes, habits and changes than the how you might have ended up here to begin with. I’m a big fan of therapy, but that’s not the service I provide. However, like therapy, our work together is confidential. And I am required to reach out to experts if I feel that you are danger to yourself or others.
Are you ready to take action?
